Patagonia GI notes: Elevation is 200m-250m, so the cooling influence is latitude. Strong desert winds provide challenges. Low rainfall, wide diurnal range, long daylight and cool nights give wines fresh fruit flavors and medium-to-high acidity. Shorter days and lower aspect, so a longer growing season is required. |
