Mountainous. Sufficient winter rain fall and summers aren’t too hot due to winds from False Bay. Very diverse soil, aspect, and altitude.
Coastal Region notes: Situated around Cape Town and Table Mountain. Highly diverse soil, aspect, and altitude.
South Africa notes: Also grows Marianne and Roussanne grapes. Benguela Current flows past on its way north.
