Notes

Cooled by sea breezes. Has the oldest vineyards in the Cape. Lies on the eastern flanks of Table Mountain and are cooled by the “Cape Doctor” (ocean winds blowing over Table Mountain)
Coastal Region notes: Situated around Cape Town and Table Mountain. Highly diverse soil, aspect, and altitude.
South Africa notes: Also grows Marianne and Roussanne grapes. Benguela Current flows past on its way north.
